Easing Arts Day Retreat

May 5th
9am-6pm
The Home Farm Healesville
We are delighted to extend the invitation to you to join us for a day retreat. This unique experience has been inspired by the medicinal and spiritual properties of the Peppermint plant. We will interact, meditate and reflect with the plant throughout our day as we are led through a yoga practice, a West-African drumming experience and a session of breathwork.

This retreat will be fully catered for by Ed Lodge and the Home Farm Healesville family, who will integrate this versatile healing herb in their alchemical preparations for our enjoyment and expansion. Our intention is to bring forth a holistic experience of our Earth’s natural medicine by engaging our thoughts, energy and presence with the Pep
permint plant in a way that may enable personal and social progress. Also, to enable a luscious and gourmet experience for those eager to gift themselves with the treat of community and relaxation for a special day away.

Our day together will be held on Home Farm Healesville, a magnificent 45-acre property. It will follow this general flow:

9am-10am: Welcome and communion with the land for the purposes of grounding the group’s intentions. Breakfast smoothies and opening discussion.

10am-12pm: Hatha yoga and meditation with Eva

12pm-1pm: Lunch and sharing of insight and wisdom relative to the food we share and the alchemical processes within, as well as the physical properties of Peppermint with Ed

1pm-3pm: West-African inspired drumming with Djulz, involving a musical arrangement specifically composed to honour our connection with this sacred herb.

3pm-3.45pm: Afternoon peppermint tea and chocolates with Ed

3.45-5.30pm: Breathwork with Liarna (supported by Alex and Alyona), offered as an integrative practice incorporating rhythmic breath, attuned touch and sound.

5.30pm-6pm: Closing

We ask that participants bring a yoga mat or rug for our morning and early evening sessions. Djembe drums will be provided for all. A non-refundable deposit of $60 is asked for those who wish to pay on the day, and payment plans are also available. Please contact us if you wish to discuss either of these options.

About the Facilitators

Eva Andrea (Yoga)

Eva is a creative, vibrant free spirited soul who was put on this earth to be fully and completely present in her physical body in order to experience life to the very brim. She is passionate, energetic and thrives most when she is challenged and pushing through life’s obstacles.

Eva began her journey into teaching yoga 2012. The calling came on the peak of Mt Kiliminjaro in Tanzania Africa. Her main style of teaching is hatha/vinyasa based which is the synchronicity of breath and movement. Her classes are creative, empowering and unique, and include an element of yogic philosophy, alignment, breath work (pranyama), sound healing using Tibetan singing bowls, and the observances of the 8 limbs of yoga as a way of life.

Eva comes from a gymnastic background and recognizes the importance of regular movement for our evolutionary growth. Her body is her instrument of choice and she expresses herself through regular movement including various styles of yoga, open floor intuitive dance, cycling, hiking and hoop dance.

Yoga and travel have had a profound impact on Eva’s life and she feels so much gratitude to all of the teachers who have shown up in her life. She will share with you her wealth of knowledge and offer you the tools required to continue along your own unique journey towards a happier, more lovingly, purposeful existence.

We are honored to welcome Eva into our space.

Liarna Condor (Breathwork)

Liarna has been working with conscious connected breath and somatic based practices for the past 4 years. She combines the breathwork with movement, sound and attuned touch to allow for a deepening connection with the narrative that is playing out through the body.
Her facilitation brings focus to the breath as a sacred tool to consciously explore the internal guidance system, and through this self-awareness the recognition of where blocks may be and how they are reflected in outer reality. She guides by the premise that breath may help us to bridge conscious and unconscious awareness. Further, that nothing need be sought from the external, but that all comes from within.
She holds small groups and one-on-one sessions in loving presence from her sanctuary in the Dandenong Ranges
